BEIJING - China’s fattest man, who weighs 225 kg, was admitted to a hospital in the country’s southwestern Chongqing city after a kidney failure, a media report said.

Liang Yong, who stands at 1.58 meters (about 5.1 feet), was admitted to the Xinqiao Hospital, China Daily reported on its website Friday.

He is also suffering from heart ailment. Doctors said no progress has been made in diagnosis even after two days of tests.

They said neither CT nor MRI scans work on his stout body, and his blood vessels are hard to locate.

Doctors decided to hospitalize Liang to closely examine his health and give proper treatments before he loses weight.
