KOLKATA, INDIA (GaeaTimes.com) — Aspirin, the common tablet that we take to relieve us from headache is found to reduce the death rates in cancer treatment. A very recent research has revealed the amazing truth about aspirin which confirms that prolonged use of aspirin on a daily basis can cut down the death rates caused due to many common types of cancer.

The British study, which was published in the medical journal The Lancet, analyzed eight trials involving 25,570 patients, and found a daily dose of aspirin of less than 75 milligrams - about a quarter of an aspirin tablet - reduced cancer deaths by an average of 21 per cent during the studies and 34 per cent after five years.

According to Brit researchers the extent of protection from cancer will depend upon the extent of the dosage of aspirin. Longer the duration of the dose, the better will be the protection. Most benefited are those people who have taken low doses of aspirin for over 20-30 years. It can help you to combat against the various types of cancer such as Oesophageal (gullet), pancreatic, brain and some forms of lung cancer. In case of prostate cancer and stomach and colorectal cancer, the result will appear only after 10-15 years.

After this research Aspirin is suppose to become a wonder drug. Don’t rush to take it without prior recommendation of a doctor. Aspirin also helps to recover heart attacks and strokes.
