Two children down with swine flu in West Bengal

KOLKATA - Two children have tested positive for swine flu in West Bengal, a health official said Friday.

The children aged between 5 and 7 were admitted to the Beliaghata Infectious Disease Hospital.

“The two children with swine flu symptoms came to the government hospital, where samples of their throat swab were collected and sent for test. The report revealed that they tested swine flu positive,” a medical official said.

“They have been admitted in the Beliaghata Infectious Disease Hospital,” Anirudha Kar, director health services, West Bengal, told IANS.
