PARIS - The French National Agency on AIDS Research (ANRS) has expressed concern over lack of funding for new projects regarding prevention of the dreaded disease in the country.

Director of ANRS, Jean-Francois Delfraissy, told BEM-TV that the budget of the institution has not changed in the last five years, Prensa Latina reported.

That is a sad news because 120,000 people live with HIV and 28,000 suffer from AIDS in France, Delfraissy said adding that fighting the epidemic is a matter of money because it is needed for the researches on new vaccines, antiretrovirals and others.
