ABU DHABI - A specialised mobile heart care facility has been launched at Emirates World Humanitarian Mobile Hospital in South Sudan, WAM news agency reported Sunday.

Steve Mosdal, the logistics director of Emirates Mobile Hospital, said the facility includes devices for echocardiography and electrocardiography that would assist the medical team in early diagnosis of heart diseases.

“By launching this hi tech integrated heart diagnosis, surgical and curative centre, the UAE has become the first country in the world to set up such a centre at the humanitarian mobile hospital,” said Adel Al Shameri, executive chief of Zayed Charity Initiative and executive director of Emirates World Humanitarian Mobile Hospital.
