ABU DHABI - The United Arab Emirates’ humanitarian campaign to offer free health care services to needy children worldwide has arrived in Egypt.

The specialist doctors and paediatric surgeons volunteering for the Emirates World Humanitarian Hospital, who arrived in Egypt Friday, will treat 400 children and perform surgeries on 40 other adult patients as necessary.

The global drive was launched by Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the UAE Red Crescent Authority (RCA), in May 2010 in Abu Dhabi.
