NEW YORK (GaeaTimes) — Today, 3rd December the whole world will be observing the World Disability Day. This day aims to promote and make people aware of the rights and dignities of persons with some kind of disability issues. This the day to lean and preach our duties towards the disabled persons and to acknowledge their experiences.
We are living in such a world that is home to 650 million disabled persons. Most of them are deprived of proper care and attention. So this day tries to motivate us to raise our attention towards them. This day was proclaimed by the United Nations.
World Disability Day stresses on the need and rights of disables persons and their freedom to live on this world as we are living. Let’s join our hands together to make this a collaborative effort.
