GHAZIABAD - Delhi Public School at Indirapuram in Ghaziabad Tuesday closed down their primary section for a week as a precautionary measure after two of their students were reported to be affected by the swine-flu virus, officials said.

“Two students were reported to be infected with the virus. Both are now fine and responding well to the treatment in Delhi hospitals. As a precautionary measure, we have closed down the primary section till Sep 28,” school principal Meeta Rai said.

As per school officials, there are around 3,000 students presently studying in the primary wing of the school.

“These cases were reported during the holidays and children were not attending classes. Still, we have sought help from the district health department and every possible measure has been undertaken. Things are under control,” Rai said.
