CHANDIGARH - Haryana Janhit Congress (HJC) chief Kuldeep Bishnoi has been quarantined at his farm house in Haryana Monday with suspected swine flu symptoms, a party official said. Bishnoi is the son of former chief minister Bhajan Lal.
“Doctors have sent Bishnoi’s throat and nasal swab samples to the National Institute of Communicable Diseases in New Delhi (now known as National Centre for Disease Control) and they are waiting for the reports,” said Ran Singh Mann, general secretary of HJC.
“Bishnoi was suffering from fever for the last two-three days and the exact status about his health will be known only when we get the test reports,” he said.
Bishnoi and Bhajan Lal were suspended from the Congress after they floated their own political outfit in 2007.
The father-son duo were upset with the Congress leadership since Bhajan Lal was denied the chief minister’s post even though he led the party to one of its biggest victories in the 2005 assembly
