Six new cases of dengue in Delhi

NEW DELHI - Delhi has reported six new cases of dengue, taking the total number of people affected by the mosquito-borne disease to 41, an official said Thursday.

“Six people have tested positive for dengue in Delhi. But there have been no deaths Thursday,” N.K. Yadav, chief medical officer of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD), told IANS.

The patients have been admitted to various hospitals of the city like Lady Hardinge, Batra and some hospitals under the MCD.

Delhi has so far reported one dengue death this year.
