30 more cases of dengue in Delhi

NEW DELHI - With 30 more cases of dengue being reported in Delhi Thursday, the daily figures of the vector-borne disease are steadily declining. The total number of infected patients has now reached 5,899.

Shahdara (North) zone is the most affected with 805 dengue patients, followed by Rohini with 748 cases and Civil Lines with 650 cases, a Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) official said.

As many as eight people have died due to the disease in the city so far.

Thirty-two cases of the disease were reported Wednesday and 35 Tuesday, showing the declining trend.
