WASHINGTON (GaeaTimes.com) — Last year this time was a traumatic situation across the globe with Swine Flu virus spreading like wild fire. People had to wait for long hours in queues to get the vaccine. The H1N1 virus is expected to come back this season but there is no reason to panic as health officials declared that 171 million doses of seasonal influenza vaccine will be available this year to get rid of this epidemic.
Doctors are recommending to get vaccinated as soon as possible. Swine flu vaccine will be available in every store and you don’t have to wait in a queue to get hold of it. Senior citizens should be vaccinated as soon as possible as this season the flu can affect mostly the adults. Last year H1N1 virus affected mostly the children and pregnant women.
Swine Flu vaccine this year will protect you against two other viruses such as the Perth H3N2 virus and the B Brisbane virus in addition to the H1N1 virus.
