AHMEDABAD - Scores of Army personnel along with their family members attended a camp conducted by yoga guru Baba Ramdev here.
The yoga exponent, who has imparted lessons in yoga to thousands of disciples across the world, expounded on the beneficial effects of yoga to live a healthier life.
He also demonstrated various yoga postures, which people can do with ease.
“I have great reverence for the army. They are the one who put their life at risk for the country, I will be pleased to do anything for them,” said Baba Ramdev.
He advised the personnel to lead a life free of alcohol, tobacco and nicotine.
Yoga has been defined as “technologies or disciplines of asceticism and meditation which are thought to lead to spiritual experiences and a profound understanding or insight into the nature of existence.” (ANI)
