RAJKOT - Students participated in a campaign on the eve of ‘World AIDS Day’ to spread awareness about the deadly disease here today.tudents also choreographed a dance on the theme of AIDS (Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome).

The organizer said students made a 40-metre-long formation of red ribbon, to spread the message ‘Hate the disease but not the patients.’

“The objective is to make the young generation of today aware about AIDS, as this is the responsibility of society, parents and family and the responsibility of schools and other educational institutions,” said Sonal Shah.

“This is our duty that we show the students a red light towards the disease and to make them understand that why is this disease dangerous, and why should they be careful from that and how,” she added.

The students also said they were happy to be part of such a campaign.

“From this concept, we want to make the people aware that they should know about AIDS. We usually have an indifferent attitude towards AIDS patients, but we should not do that. We should be careful about the disease,” said Mansi Udeshi, a school student. (ANI)
