Swim for diabetes in Ohio

Columbus, OH (GaeaTimes.com) - The 25th annual Verizon Swim for Diabetes is scheduled to take place from 30th April to May 16th at 55 indoor pools in northeast Ohio.
Olympian Diana Munz and her coach Jerry Holtrey are the honorary co-chairs.
Schedule:
University of Akron Ocasek Natatorium
April 30 from 4 to 7 p.m.
May 1 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
May 2 from noon-5 p.m.
Life Center Plus
May 14 from 5-9 p.m.
May 15-16 from 2-6 p.m.
Akron General Lifestyles-North
May 15 from 3-6 p.m.
Macedonia Family Recreation Center
May 16 from noon-3 p.m.
Twinsburg Fitness Center
May 16 from 8 a.m. to noon
Natatorium in Cuyahoga Falls
May 16 from 9:30 a.m.-1 p.m.
Anyone can participate in this event and have an opportunity to earn prizes. You can participate by swimming laps, walking in or around the water or simply just make a donation.

Fundraisers above $65 will receive a commemorative Verizon Wireless Swim for Diabetes T-Shirt, above $100 will receive a free lower level ticket to Swim for Diabetes Night to watch interleague play between Cleveland Indians and Washington Nationals on June 12.
All the proceeds raised from this initiative will stay in northeast Ohio to support prevention, risk-assessment, diabetes education etc.
