Infected thalassaemic children in Jodhpur: Numbers could rise

JODHPUR - With at least 20 thalassaemic children likely to be in danger after they allegedly received HIV and Hepatitis C infected blood at a government hospital here, the chief minister’s office (CMO) has sought a report on the matter.

JODHPUR - Eight children in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, have been found to be suffering from thalassaemia and, have been declared HIV positive.

‘Change in mindset needed to address healthcare issues’

PILANI - A change in mindset towards addressing issues related to women and children was the need of the hour to deal with ignorance in healthcare of mother and child, a senior health official has stressed.
