NEW YORK (GaeaTimes.com) — The tiny critter bed bugs have rebound again in US creating one of the biggest infestations nationwide. The notorious bugs, which are only about an eight of an inch in diameter are creeping into the homes of people and crawling over the human beings. The nocturnal bed bugs were eradicated with the use of pesticides but these pests have resurgent over the past few years and they have grow resistance to most of the pesticides.

The bed bugs infestation intensified in the recent few days. There is a rise of calls and complains in the pest control companies. Terminix, a pest control company released a list of the nation’s most bed bug infested cities. The results showed that New York and Philadelphia are reigning high in the list. four cities in Ohio are also in the top 15 list. The bed bugs are commonly located at public housing, apartments and dormitories, as well as hotels, nursing homes, movie theaters, furniture retail stores, moving vans and single-unit homes.

Bed bugs have the capacity to spread widely and they multiply very fast. Don’t be surprised to find the tiny bug crawling in your mattresses, cracks and crevices on walls, upholstered furniture and wood. But government prevented its usage indoors after EPA found out that the pesticide is dangerous to children. EPA is firm on its suggestion but informs the people to seal cracks and crevices, remove clutter, use a special mattress cover, dry clothing and sheets at high temperatures to prevent these dangerous bed bugs.
