ISLAMABAD - Pakistani actor Shaan has in his talks at the Pampers-UNICEF ‘1 Pack = 1 Life Saving Vaccine’ campaign stressed the importance of tetanus vaccinations for mothers.

During the campaign Pampers will donate one tetanus vaccine to United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) for every pack of Pampers purchased in Pakistan until September 15.

“No life should be lost to a disease that is easily preventable by vaccination, yet every three minutes, a life is lost to tetanus - a deadly disease that remains a tragic reality in the world today,” the Daily Times quoted him as saying.

“I’m proud to be associated with the Pampers team in creating this campaign, which God willing will wipe out tetanus from Pakistan and the world,” he added.

Sharing his thoughts, Pampers Brand Manager Nausheen Ishtiaq, said the campaign gives every parent and child the opportunity to help save a life. (ANI)
