ISLAMABAD - Less than a year after the Obama administration passed the health care law, most voters still favour repealing the overhaul by a double-digit margin, a new poll has found.

Fox News quoted a Rasmussen Reports poll as saying that most respondents believe the law will increase the cost of health care, increase the federal deficit and erode the quality of care.

The poll also found that 58 percent of likely voters favour repeal to some degree, with 44 percent strongly supporting it. Thirty-seven percent oppose repeal, with 26 percent strongly opposing it.

Fifty-six percent also said that under the law, health care costs would increase while 52 percent said quality would go down.

Last week, a Florida federal judge had ruled that the individual mandate requiring people to buy health insurance is unconstitutional and that the law itself should be voided. The Obama administration is appealing against the decision, the report said. (ANI)
