NEVADA - Hindus are suggesting television personality Bethenny Frankel (Wish Me Luck) to go beyond her recent focus of using yoga for hotter sex and explore the vast spiritual benefits it offers.

Frankel, 39, who is doing yoga for about 20 years, was recently reported as saying “Yoga is good for the libido” and while her yoga teacher Kristin McGee reportedly said: “Not only does yoga strengthen the key muscles used during sex, it also teaches us self-acceptance which helps us lose our inhibitions.” Frankel, who has reportedly done yoga during her recent pregnancy, calls yoga an “inexpensive massage”.

Acclaimed Hindu statesman Rajan Zed, in a statement in Nevada (USA) today, stressed that yoga was a mental and physical discipline by means of which the human-soul (jivatman) united with universal-soul (parmatman).

Zed, who is President of Universal Society of Hinduism, further said that some sages had described yoga as the silencing of all mental transformations, which lead to the total realization of the Supreme Self. Some had used yoga attempting to gain liberation by removing all sensory barriers. For Patanjali, author of the basic text, the Yoga Sutra, yoga was a methodical effort to attain perfection, through the control of the different elements of human nature, physical and psychical, Rajan Zed added.
