DEERFIELD, Ill. — More than 100 central Florida Walgreens are now offering swine flu vaccinations after five counties extended recommendations on who should get a vaccine to include everyone over 6 months old.
Walgreens Inc. is now providing swine flu injections and nasal vaccines in store pharmacies in Marion, Orange, Osceola, Seminole and Sumter counties. Vaccinations are available on a walk-in basis, and during scheduled swine flu clinics.
The Deerfield, Ill.-based drug store chain said Monday it will add more counties in coming weeks, as more supply of the $18 vaccine becomes available.
Walgreens currently offers swine flu vaccinations in 31 states.
