RAIPUR - Dozens of people protested at Chhattisgarh’s biggest government-run hospital, Bhimrao Ambedkar Medical College and Hospital, here after a patient died allegedly after he was given blood of a different group.

Relatives of the victim allege that Amrit Yadav died as the doctors gave him blood of a different group.

“We have begun probe whether the charges levelled by the patient’s relatives is correct. Initially it looks like a very serious charge that ended life of a person,” a senior doctor of the hospital said.
